James + Connie| throwback

Hey there Hey!  Wanted to repost this sweet couple that I had the honor of photographing 2 years ago.

This  photo session I did with James and Connie will sure hold a very special place in my heart and I am so excited to repost their story and pictures as they celebrate another anniversary this month.  Happy 65th!

James and Connie met at Flower, Dick & Walker Department  store in Binghamton New York, many years ago.  They will be celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 24th. Now that’s something to celebrate!

I learned that James became a Methodist minister 52 years ago.  He will be 85 this coming August.  Connie raised their 5 children…2 girls and 3 boys. She had her hands full for sure.   After moving to Florida with their family,  she worked for Publix for 15 years then retired.  She will be 82 this coming May.
I asked their daughter, Lorraine, to tell me what her favorite part of the photo session was. Her response was just as I figured it would be….  “it was great to see them smile and show affection…even though it was a VERY cold day”.  A cold day it sure was.

It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

I bet you can feel the love through these photos. You’ll see what I mean when you see the photos.  Just check out these two! #couplegoals

The pair are still very much in love, as is evidenced by this photo set. I enjoyed seeing them flirt and enjoy each others company so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, James and Connie.  You are so blessed to be in each others arms all these years.  I wish you all the best, and then some.
