Garrett, party of 5!

Stacie and her family have welcomed Little Miss Marlie Jean to the world in early March and I couldn’t be happier for them. I was so honored when she hired me to photograph the gender reveal party as well as her maternity session.   I enjoyed being in her company both times and I can’t wait to snuggle up this new little bundle of joy.  Let’s take a stroll down memory lane to those past sessions.

This last photo is actually very dear to me.  That was my daughters, Kinsley’s little crown that I photographed her with when she was born.  I brought it into the session as a prop, and then decided to gift it to her so she can use for Marlie’s newborn pictures.

Now many of you know I am not a newborn photographer. But Stacie, at Rustic Feather Photography is.  Newborn photography is one of her specialities and I’m so glad she and I met.  While I will not be needing any newborn photography for myself, I highly recommend her to anyone who would love to have their new baby photographed.  Stacie has so many props and is experienced in positioning your tiny little ones in many poses.

I have lots of respect for newborn photographers. It takes incredible patience and dedication to perfect the art of it. High fives all around to Stacie and all other newborn photographers out there. Please enjoy all the sweetness in these photos of Marlie Jean, taken by her mother, my friend and owner of Rustic Feather Photography, Stacie Garrett.received_10101486514265732-1

Please let Stacie know I sent you her way! You won’t be disappointed.
