Congratulations to the SHS upcoming class of 2019. But before we graduate, it’s prom time, right!?
It was an honor to get to to know these 6 individuals and see the excitement on their face right before entering into their Prom.
There were people EVERYWHERE! So many couples getting their photos taken by photographers, parents, and of course, selfies 🙂
We had to work fast before it was time to get your tickets out and head inside for the party.
Karissa, Bobby, Desirea, Joey, Madison & Jacob all looked stunning. Some have been friends since childhood. I had so much fun listening to stories from their parents about them as friends from their childhood and now women and men with their boyfriend/girlfriend at their sides.
Bobby, Madison and Joey are the 3 friends since childhood. Let’s take a peek at some of the photos from their gallery.
Congratulations on graduating high shcool! You are all destined for great things.
Adorable couple : Bobby and Karissa.
Adorable couple: Joey and Desirea
Adorable couple: Jacob and Madison
Thank you again to these awesome seniors. I hope you all had a wonderful time at prom.
Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.
I was so happy to hear that Lorraine said her parents were coming back to Florida for their 65th anniversary. Lorraine hosted a dinner at her home for her parents and all the kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids that could make it, attended.
I had the honor of photographing them all together. I originally met James and Connie in 2017. Let’s get to know this lovely couple a bit and recap what I learned about them when we first met.
James became a Methodist minister 54 years ago. He will be 87 this coming August. Connie raised their 5 children…2 girls and 3 boys. She had her hands full for sure. After moving to Florida with their family, she worked for Publix for 15 years then retired.
Now their children are adults, and they have been so very blessed with 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. But, let’s look back to those beautiful photos I took of James and Connie 2 years ago.
So much love! How can you not ooh and awe over these two?
Fast forward to the recent time together:
And let’s not forget all the people who are here because they fell in love.
It truly is a blessing when you are surrounded by your family for something as amazing as a 65th wedding anniversary. To be side by side with each other through life for all those years is something to be so proud of.
James and Connie, keep doing what you are doing. You got it all right. I look forward to seeing you again for your 70th anniversary! Love and hugs.
Be Distinctly Different
I recently went to My Dental Agency, located at 3030 Starkey Blvd #177 in New Port Richey Florida. They are a digital marketing agency that work with dental practices, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the people and what they do here.
The talented minds at My Dental Agency have over 15 years of performing successful digital marketing campaigns, 10 years of working in the dental industry, and combined 90 years of just being awesome.
I was delighted to photograph their workspace and the amazing group behind this outstanding company.
My Dental Agency works with practices all over the nation. They like to say that they create Distinctly Different Dental Marketing and not the mundane crap that’s typically out there. Here is their “why” Our WHY–They believe in thinking differently from mass marketing groups and standing up against corporate dentistry. They do this by helping independent practices build genuine relationships with patients, create and manage positive reputations by utilizing online resources, and retain their current patients (who are their greatest untapped assets). They achieve all of this by creating custom, relatable, personalized, and distinctly different campaigns that reflect the needs and personalities of each individual practice.
If you ask me, they are “killing it” with being current, fun, entertaining and kick ass people… I can say that on here, right? 🙂 But seriously, they know their stuff.
Aside from being totally awesome at what they do, they go even further and also reach out through podcasts and blogging to name a few.
Give them a ring : 800-689-6434.or “800-ouzo-if-I” if that is easier to remember, but probably not……..totally says this on their site!
I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be. – Robert Munsch
Another beautiful beach session completed and I can’t be any happier. These two were so cute together. Expecting their first, how can you not be happy. Marisa was 36 weeks along during this session and I must say she looks INCREDIBLE!
I enjoyed their laid back personalities and how they went with the flow, even when I added in smoke bombs. Now that was fun creating that!
Marissa says that Paul has been so supportive thought her entire pregnancy and he made it a priority for her to rest while he took care of the housework. Virtual high fives Paul!!!
During Marissa’s pregnancy, she didn’t have many cravings. She did walk a lot to keep up with some exercise. She says that her pregnancy has been very easy with little morning sickness. Man, if we could all relate to that there would be more babies in all our families…ya feel me?
Thank you so much Paul and Marissa for hiring me to capture such a special time in your lives. I am so excited to hear all about parenthood. You two are going to be great!
What a fantastic time this wedding was. I absolutely loved the laid back garden feel. I met the couple for our initial consultation August of 2018. I was so happy to hear just a few days later that they had chosen me as their wedding photographer. Let’s see some highlights of their wedding, right?
If you missed my post back in January, head on over to their engagement session post by clicking here.
You’ll learn some details about the couple and how they met, their story, and Billy’s adorable proposal.
Being that they are soccer lovers, (virtual high fives..soccer mom over here), it was such a great idea to incorporate their love for soccer so simply in their wedding. Instead of a guest book they decided on soccer balls! So creative and what a great item to display in their home afterwards. The old school soccer balls and some good ole’ sharpie markers is all they needed to pull this off. So clever…love it.
Aside from the balls, you can see the small hearts that their guests could also write something sweet to them and stick it in their frame which, so conveniently will be displayed in their home as well. Such a smart way to be able to incorporate memories from your wedding aside from pictures and albums.
On to the ceremony and the lovely couple.
There was a point in the night, right after the first dance that will forever be treasured, not only by the bride and groom, but the Father of the Bride and his other daughter. One who has been married for a bit, but didn’t have a wedding. The Bride surprised her father and sister with a dance. As the first dance ended, the song faded out and a song dear to them came on. The reaction was priceless and we all watched and teared up as we enjoyed the moment with them. They got their father daughter dance too! Now how lucky is that father? Both daughters and their dances with him on the same night. So honored to be able to capture that for them.
We ended the night with the set up for their thank you card. The entire wedding nailed it!
To close, I wanted to let you know about the very unique hand made item all wedding couples receive when they use Strong Tower Winery.
For this wedding, the following businesses helped bring it all together:
Bride’s gown – David’s Bridal Bride’s wedding band – Nature Coast Jewelers Flowers –Sherwood Florist Wine bottle decorations and cupcake decorations – Michaels Craft Store Wine bottle cork lights, soccer balls, chalk board, bow ties – Amazon Heart sign in keepsake – Hobby Lobby Cupcakes – Cupcake Heaven Groom’s outfit – Kohl’s Groom wedding band – Jewelry by Jordan Hair – Dee from Beyond HairMakeup – Bride’s friend from work, Teresa
It was such an honor when I was approached to be Lead Photographer in the recent Crosspoint Church fifth annual Easter egg hunt where children hunted on a field filled with over 40,000 eggs! Aside from having a wonderful time serving with the AMAZING group of people who pulled together to make this extravaganza come to life, I enjoyed seeing all the smiles on everyones face who attended. Before I get into the details of the event and showcase all the fun you missed if you weren’t there amongst the 3900 plus people who attended the FREE event…. Yes, amazing right!? God is so good!!!! I have to just tell you that aside from the outstanding turnout the church has every Sunday, Easter Sunday was record breaking. We invited everyone who attended the event to come join us for Easter if they haven’t experienced Crosspoint Church for our Sunday services, which by the way are at 9:30am and 11:00 am every Sunday morning at Challenger k8. But, back to that record breaking number I wrote of….over 2700 people attended Easter service. I mean, how incredible is that! I can’t tell you the amazing feeling I get inside my heart knowing that I am apart of something so life changing. The best part of all of it, my husband and our children adore church and EVERYTHING this church does for our faith and family.
Just a few pics into the recent event. I hope you were there….and if not, there is always next year. But I hope to see you at church first 🙂

Welcome back, my friends. Today’s feature is Justin, Lindsay and their growing baby boy, Luke Daniel, inside that adorable baby bump. Lindsay is due in May and we had such a lovely session a few weeks ago documenting this special time in their life. I was so honored they chose me for this important time once I got to know them a bit more during the session and they shared their story with me.
Just and Lindsay decided on the Crews Lake Park location to showcase their love of the outdoors and mountains. Unfortunately I couldn’t provide mountains in their session, but the park made them think of their yearly Tennessee trip.
During their pregnancy Justin has been so very helpful with all the housework an getting the nursery ready for Luke. Lindsay has been truly enjoying her naps whenever she want, but when Luke arrives, that won’t be happening as much. Lindsay hasn’t had any strange cravings other than the desire of sugar all day every day.
Lindsay had no complaints at all about her ultrasound. She has been feeling great and besides the belly, you would even know she was pregnant. Thank you Justin, Lindsay & Luke. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know you. God has truly blessed you and you two are going to be amazing parents.
This beautiful young woman is Juli. She is such a warm hearted person, who is fun, outgoing, full of energy and an overall joy to be around and work with. Juli is graduating from Berkley Prepatory School this June. After graduation she plans to work at Circle F Dude Ranch in Lake Wales as a camp counselor and then off to college she will go. Juli will attend the University of North Florida to study and eventually become a veterinarian. She also plans to ride on their riding team.
When Juli came to me and discussed her love for riding and how she wanted to have her senior photo session at a horse farm. Ravenwood Farms is where she has been taking riding lessons, so naturally, that is where we went. Juli has been taking lessons since she was 6 years old, so it was very apropos to use Ravenwood Farms as the photo session location. Aside from riding, Juli is very much involved in track and cross country at her school. She plays the piano, however her interests mostly include horses, dancing and reading.
It was the perfect setting for her session. There were no riders around to make for any distractions, so when Grande came out of his stall, everything went so smoothly.
Yes, Grande is his name, but no he doesn’t drink coffee. I’m totally obsessed with this beautiful horse who was so gentle and THE BEST MODEL. He was so engaged. Look how cute his ears are. They were up for the entire session.
Oh my word, do you see that picture of the horse smiling? He was eating some grass and I captured it right when he was chewing. I’ll take it!
We ended the session with a few individual photos as the sun was setting and the lighting was just perfect!
Juli took me back to the old Levi commercials when she changed into a more relaxed outfit. I just loved the natural look. She nailed it!
It is always so much fun when I work with seniors. We get to plan out the session exactly how they want it. After all, it is a reflection of them and who they are right now. Whatever you are into at this important time in your life, let it be showcased in a fun session just like Juli did. Don’t settle for that traditional tux and drape with pearls photo that looks exactly the same for every persons yearbook photo. Let your Senior portraits tell YOUR story! Juli paired her session with customized senior announcement cards. It’s a one stop shop when you have your senior portrait with KGP!
If you aren’t on my email newsletter, you may not know my Senior mini session offering. You can access all that information by clicking here.
This campaign offering for Seniors (High School and College Graduates) will expire in June. So hurry up and contact me so we can customize your session (or your seniors if you are a parent of one) and you can get this outstanding deal packed with prints and so much more.
I am excited to hear from you and plan your session.
Cake smashing fun on the beach!
Meet the Konz family, y’all. Traveling from Lancaster Kentucky to visit family in Brooksville Florida. Casey and her husband decided they wanted some family photos taken on a beach. When I got the call and heard Casey’s adorable southern accent, I just had to nail the consultation! I knew she and her family would be so much fun to hang with and capture memories. And that we did, my friends.
We met up at Pine Island where the beach, to our surprise, was PACKED! I’m talking there was people everywhere! I was so up for the challenge. TGFPS! That is my acronym for “THANK GOODNESS FOR PHOTOSHOP”. Seriously, it was nuts! Babies, buckets, bikinis and swim trunks were EVERYWHERE!!!
Before I showcase this adorable family, let’s dive in to their lives and learn a bit about the Konz family.
Alex, aka Dad, is a lineman that spends his days constructing power lines and responding to disasters as needed. A very hardworking man per Casey, and it sure sounds like it to me when describing her husband.
Casey, aka Mom, is a respiratory therapist who spends her days helping those lucky Kentucky patients breath better. She currently manages 80 ventilators!
Braxon, their rainbow baby who always is smiling, loves everything to do with water and people. So appropriate to have his smash cake on the beach, right?!
I mean seriously! How can this kid gets any cuter? I wish I looked that adorable after stuffing my face with cake!
Braxon loves bath time, food, riding the rzr around the yard with this mom and dad. He loves to play outside and enjoys anyones company.
When I asked Casey what her favorite part of the session was, she replied with Braxon eating his cake. I couldn’t agree more! I mean look how much fun that was. And so many people besides us enjoyed watching him eat as well. He had an entire audience! Families just stopped to smile and watch him.
Thank you so incredibly much Casey and Alex for having me be the photographer of choice for your photography needs while visiting Florida. I’m so excited for your next visit! My readers will be waiting for the update on Braxon.
Meet the Grosos family. They have been debuted on my blog several times. It’s been an honor to be apart of their family when they married in 2016 and added their son, Abel to their life in 2017.
Let’s jump right in to everyone and update you where they are in life now.
Since their last session with me, they have moved back to Hernando County in June of 2018.
Their backyard is on a golf course and showcases such a beautiful sunset, when the sun corporates, of course!
Leading up to the session, Mackenzie was texting me so many beautiful photos of their backyard and I was stoked!!!!
Of course the day of the weather and sky weren’t cooperating as much, but we made the best of it and had a great time.
Justin and Mackenzie were wed while Justin was still in the Army. Just was a 13B (13Bravo) and was artillery. Justin is no longer in the army as he is now a Purple Heart Veteran.
Party of 5 now with their pups. Mackenzie is pursuing her nursing career and Justin is working as an auto body technician.
Thank you Grosos family for another wonderful session. You guys are a blast to be around.
